Terms & Conditions — Vikins Travel

Thank you for choosing Vikins Travel for your sea adventures. Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By booking or paying for any cruise or cruise-related service with us, you (the “Passenger” / “Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Contractual Agreement & Scope
- This contract covers cruise bookings, cruise-packages, shore excursions, cabin bookings, and any related services provided by Vikins Travel(the “Company”, “we”, “us”).
- Any booking becomes binding only when the deposit/payment required is received and the booking confirmation is issued by us.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- To confirm a booking, you must provide valid traveller information (full names, dates, ID/passport info if needed), required payments, and accept these Terms.
- Once confirmed, you will receive an email (or booking confirmation) summarizing your itinerary, services included, price, and terms.
3. Payment Terms
- At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit or full payment may be required depending on cruise / package.
- The final payment (balance) must be completed by the deadline specified at booking. Failure to pay by due date may result in automatic cancellation of booking and forfeiture of deposit.
- All payments made are subject to the cancellation and refund policy described below.
4. Included & Not-Included Services
What’s included (depending on the package): accommodation aboard the cruise ship (cabin/stateroom), onboard meals as described, port taxes/fees (if specified), basic services per itinerary.
What’s not included (unless explicitly mentioned): personal expenses onboard or ashore, optional excursions or activities, visas or travel documents, travel insurance, optional upgrade charges, transport to embarkation port, gratuities, and any other extras.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because cruise bookings involve advance arrangements and commitments, we follow a tiered cancellation policy:

*Refund percentages and time windows may vary per cruise line or package — always refer to your booking confirmation for exact terms.
Important notes:
- All cancellation requests must be sent in writing (email or via contact form).
- Non-refundable deposits, promotional discounts or special offers may have stricter cancellation terms.
- Refunds will be processed via the original payment method, after deducting any third-party fees (e.g. third-party cruise line, port taxes, booking charges).
6. Changes & Amendments
- Requests to change cabin type, travel dates, passenger names or other booking details must be submitted in writing.
- Changes are subject to availability and may incur administrative or supplier change fees.
- Some changes may not be possible if final payment is already made or cruise itinerary is fixed.
7. Passports, Visas, Travel Documents & Eligibility
- It is your responsibility to hold valid passports, visas, travel permits and any necessary documents required for the cruise and port destinations.
- We are not liable for denial of boarding or denied entry due to invalid or missing travel documents.
- For certain cruises, additional requirements may apply (e.g. vaccination, health declarations) — it is your responsibility to meet these requirements.
8. Travel Insurance & Liability
- We strongly recommend that all passengers purchase comprehensive travel and cruise insurance covering cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, delays, and any travel-related risk.
- Vikins Travel is not liable for personal injury, illness, loss or damage to personal belongings, or expenses incurred as a result of delays, cancellations (by third parties or cruise lines), weather, force majeure, or any circumstances beyond our control.
- Our liability in any event will not exceed the total amount paid by you for the booking.
9. Shore Excursions, Third-Party Services & Subcontractors
- Many services (shore excursions, local tours, transfers, third-party providers) are provided by external operators. Their terms, policies and third-party liabilities apply.
- Any additional terms, fees or conditions imposed by third-party operators will also apply to you.
10. Health, Safety & Conduct Onboard
- Passengers must comply with the policies of the cruise line or vessel operator regarding health protocols, behaviour, safety instructions, and local laws at ports of call.
- The Company may cancel or refuse boarding if a passenger fails to meet safety or health requirements, leading to no refund or compensation.
11. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Events
- Vikins Travel is not responsible for delays, changes or cancellations caused by force majeure — including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, political unrest, port closures, strikes, epidemics, acts of authorities, or other events beyond control.
- In such cases, we will assist you in obtaining refunds or re- accommodation where possible, but cannot guarantee full compensation.
12. Price Changes & Errors
- Prices are quoted in booking confirmation; once confirmed and paid, they are fixed.
- However, if there is a typographical or obvious error on the website or brochure before booking confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel or modify the booking, or require updated payment.
13. Promotions, Discounts & Special Offers
- Special promotions, sale pricing, discounts, group deals, early-bird offers, and seasonal pricing are subject to separate terms — these may include stricter cancellation or change policies.
- Once a booking is made under a promotional offer, only the terms mentioned in your booking confirmation apply.
14. Data, Privacy & Passenger Information
- We collect passenger information (names, contact details, passport/ID) as required by cruise operators and port authorities.
- By booking, you authorize us to share necessary information with relevant third-party providers (cruise lines, transfer operators, port authorities) for the sole purpose of facilitating your cruise.
- We maintain data privacy and do not share personal data with unauthorised third parties.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country / Jurisdiction].
- Any dispute arising from booking, payment, cancellations or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Your City / Region].
